Our research group developed the world's first-ever acoustic levitation technology that manipulates objects three-dimensionally in midair in 2013. Ultrasonic phased arrays are arranged facing to each other to control an acoustic field. Recently, by modifying the pattern of acoustic field, we also realized a floating screen with small particles suspended in midair. The attendees can see this floating screen in this exhibition.
