We present “Pteromys”, an interactive design system of free-formed model hand-lunching airplanes. This technology enables the user to design original airplanes very easily by presenting the user with real-time flight simulation and interactive design optimization. The designed airplane can be constructed easily with CNC cutter. In this exhibition, you can actually try our design system. We also show and distribute free-form airplanes designed with our system.
