The 8K:VR Ride is a new, advanced implementation of 8K (Ultra HD) VR technology. Just like the 8K:VR Theater introduced last year, the ride allows users to experience VR without the use of a headset by utilizing 8K images on a dome-shaped screen with 5.1ch surround sound audio.As the world’s first 8K motion ride, 8K:VR Ride uses an 8K-capable projector, a six-axis motion seat called Sphere 5.2, and a projection system developed by WONDER VISION TECHNO LABORATORY that projects images on a dome-shaped screen measuring 5.2m (width) x 3.4m (height) x 2.6m (depth).
Co-produced with RekoChoku Labo, the 8K live-action / CG hybrid video lets users experience a virtual trip across Tokyo over the years up to 2020 set to the hit Southern All Stars track “Tokyo Victory”.
8K:VR Ride Experience – Ticket Lottery Details
Friday October 27th 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m.・On Friday October 27th (business day), riding tickets will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. Please go directly to the Studio on the 7th floor.
・If you just want to observe other people experience the ride, you can do so without any tickets. Please enter the Studio through the entrance.
Saturday October 28th 11:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.
Sunday October 29th 11:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.
・The motion ride tickets for Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th will be handed out by a ticket lottery held on-site.
・The lottery will be held at 7th floor, Dome Theater Lobby as follows (schedule is the same for both days):

Ride rules
1.The following people are not allowed on the ride:- ► Children under the age of 6
- ► Those with heart problems
- ► Those with back, neck or spine problems
- ► Those with blood pressure problems
- ► Expectant mothers
- ► Those under the influence of alcohol
- ► Those who are ill
- ► Those who cannot sit in the seat due to body size
2．Precautions for the ride
- ► Please fasten your seat belt for your safety. Please do not unfasten the belt while the ride is in operation.
- ► Please check your baggage before the ride.
- ► If at any time you feel sick during the ride, please raise your hand and alert the staff.
- ► Please comply with attendants’ instructions for your safety. If you don’t, staff my refuse to allow you on the ride.
- ► The ride seat is a double seat but the lottery will be done on a one-person basis, so please be aware that if you apply as a group, not all of you may win a ticket.
