AI Gochan has appeared in events not only in Japan, but also in international settings such as SXSW 2018, one of the most renowned emerging technologies festivals. At the Digital Content Expo 2018, AI Gochan will improvise original rap songs for the visitors in real time using AI technology developed by Nextremer. In this collaboration between media and technology, TV Asahi Group contributes the intelectual property over the characters and Nextremer contributes the AI technology powering up this novel experience for the visitors.
* What is AI Gochan?: Gochan is one of TV Asahi’s mascot characters. AI Gochan was conceived in 2017 as a new experience for fans to interact and communicate with Gochan, as technology evolves.
