ASIAGRAPH 2013 Master's Award (Takumi-sho) has been decided to be given to Shinji Higuchi, movie director and a pride of Japan's special effects movie industry, who keeps producing powerful and fascinating movies; Creator’s Award (Tsumugi-sho) has been decided to be given to AsamiKiyokawa, up-and-coming artist who is popular in various fields with her unique method of art, making stitches on photographs.
The two award winners will have a discussion with Yoichiro Kawaguchi, Professor at the University of Tokyo and a world-renowned CG artist as moderator, on those new ways of expression which were created by the merge of art and technology.
