Display technology is innovatively developing as observed in the advent of display products from smartphone and tablet computer to big-screen television and projector, mainly because of the improvement of pixel density. As to commercial or public large-size screening, entirely new methods of expression have become available due to application of high resolution technology. In this seminar, “New Areas Offered by High Resolution Display Technology” will be explored including the next-generation TV broadcasting, 4K/8K, while introducing related technology and examples of other applications.
