Call for Application for I-Tech+

Innovative Technologies+ is a project to discover and give awards to new technologies and business models that are expected to significantly contribute to the development of content industry. This project is organized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The purpose of the project is to discover advanced technologies and business models that have possibility to be applied to other industry and create new market on the basis of the future direction of technology development shown in Technology Map 2015 (Content field). By showcasing such technologies at Digital Content Expo, we will encourage them to apply to a wide range of fields.

Outline of Application

Around 20 technologies and business models will be selected from applications from industry and academia on the basis of the future direction of technology development shown in Technology Map 2015 (Content field). Selected content technologies and business models will be exhibited at the venue of “Digital Content Expo 2017” to be held in this autumn.

How many will be accepted?: Around 20
What kind of technologies can be submitted?: Technologies and business models including software and applications developed/produced by companies/universities/research institutions/organizations which are located in Japan. Please refer to the following links for the technologies accepted in last fiscal year and Technology Map.
