VAIR Field is a physical eSports attraction. It does not use a HMD, but uses a VAIR device attached to a smartphone in the shape of a weapon, so anyone can easily experience it. It is a VR “air soft”-like sport that is similar to a traditional sport that involves physical exercise, with the same operation feeling and required physical ability of a gun and bow. You can move around the field and play against each other as a team.
Technical Specification
While applying the latest xR technology without using HMD, we are advocating physical eSports in which many people can play freely with their physical abilities. Based on this concept, we have developed the "VAIR Field", which can be used for multiplayer shooting using a device that reproduces not only the shape of a gun or bow but also the operation method and feeling. By reflecting the information of obstacles such as walls and floors in a 10 meter square area and detecting obstacles in real time, you can play in the space where the physical world and the digital world overlap. Without HMD, you can see real world information and experience it safely and easily from children to the elderly.
