The SIGGRAPH Special Prize in DCEXPO2024 and the DCEXPO Prize in SIGGRAPH2024 were awarded at DCEXPO2024 awards ceremony.
The SIGGRAPH Special Prize
The SIGGRAPH Special Prize, selected by next year’s Emerging Technologies Chair of SIGGRAPH, the world’s largest conference on computer graphics and interactive technologies, is as follows. Dr. Nathan Matsuda, SIGGRAPH 2025 Emerging Technologies Chair, made the selection and presented the award plaques to the winners at the awards ceremony.

DCEXPO Award and the DCEXPO Jury Award
DCEXPO award selections were made at SIGGRAPH 2024 held in August 2024 in Denver, and the winners of the DCEXPO Award and the DCEXPO Jury Award were announced.
The following award-winning technologies were exhibited at DCEXPO 2024.
“Project Starline: A High-fidelity Telepresence System” from Google won the DCEXPO award.

They were unable to come to Japan, so the video exhibition was held.
“Metapunch X: Combing Multidisplay and Exertion Interaction for Watching and Playing E-sports in Multiverse” from XRLab, National Taipei University of Technology & Goldenslash won the DCEXPO Jury Award.
Metapunch X was demonstrated in a booth at DCEXPO 2024 and many attendees experienced the demo and gave it high marks.
Metapunch X also participated in the DCEXPO awards ceremony and was handed a plaque by the DCAJ Chairman.
